The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) is a flagship esports tournament launched by Krafton India. In 2025, its first-ever LAN Grand Finals were hosted in Kolkata from April 25–27 at the Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, marking a pivotal moment in the Indian esports calendar.

This major offline event brought together the top 16 Indian teams competing for a prize pool of 2 crore over a three-day showdown. The event was designed not only as a high-stakes competition but also as a fan extravaganza, open to in-person spectators for the first time.

    The finals took place at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, a versatile venue accommodating both indoor and outdoor zones. It featured a professionally staged gaming arena with competitive booths, live broadcast stations, and dedicated spectator seating for thousands.
  • Tournament Structure:
    Over three days, 16 teams clashed in 18 intense LAN matches, divided into two semifinal weeks. The setup mirrored international esports standards, ensuring high-quality live streaming and spectator experience.
  • Audience Engagement:
    The event attracted an in-person crowd estimated between 3,000–5,000 individuals, featuring enthusiastic spectators, cosplayers, and interactive engagement zones. Live broadcasts were available on YouTube in multiple languages, further broadening reach.
  • Prize & Recognition:
    A total prize pool of 2 crore was at stake, with Team Versatile emerging as champions of the 2025 edition.
