The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) is a flagship esports tournament launched by Krafton India. In 2025, its first-ever LAN Grand Finals were hosted in Kolkata from April 25–27 at the Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, marking a pivotal moment in the Indian esports calendar.
This major offline event brought together the top 16 Indian teams competing for a prize pool of ₹2 crore over a three-day showdown. The event was designed not only as a high-stakes competition but also as a fan extravaganza, open to in-person spectators for the first time.
