Event Brief

To mark the launch of its marquee residential project Kanakia Silicon Valley, the Kanakia Group envisioned a larger-than-life event that symbolized ambition, innovation, and futuristic living. Taking inspiration from India’s space missions and scientific excellence, the event was themed around a Chandrayaan-style launch, drawing parallels between India’s achievements in space and the aspirations of the project.

The objective was not just to announce the project, but to create an emotionally resonant, visually striking experience that would leave a lasting impression on attendees, media, and stakeholders.

Execution

The venue was transformed into an immersive space launch environment, centered around a dramatic reveal of “The Grand Rocket” — a custom-built, life-size rocket installation placed near the main stage. This towering structure wasn’t just a décor element, but a key storytelling device, used to stage a simulated rocket launch during the event, complete with sound design, lighting effects, countdown visuals, and smoke effects to amplify the spectacle.

The event was elevated by the presence of Padma Bhushan awardee Dr. Nambi Narayanan, a legendary ISRO scientist, and actor-director R. Madhavan, who portrayed him in the film Rocketry. Their unveiling of the rocket served as a symbolic greenlight to the project, linking scientific achievement with the visionary nature of Kanakia’s new development.

Essence Transmedia handled end-to-end event management, including concept development, venue setup, production, stage management, technical coordination, artist handling, hospitality, and guest experience. Every detail was curated to align with the theme while delivering a seamless and high-impact execution.
