Nor-Shipping 2025

Event Brief

Nor-Shipping 2025, held in Oslo, Norway, is one of the world’s most prominent maritime industry exhibitions. The event brings together global leaders, innovators, and stakeholders from the shipping and ocean sectors to showcase technological advancements, foster collaboration, and drive sustainable progress.

For this prestigious international platform, the Indian Ports Association (IPA) was allotted a dedicated space to represent India’s maritime ecosystem through an official India Pavilion. The objective was to amplify India’s global maritime presence, highlight the innovation and strength of Indian maritime companies, and explore opportunities for international partnerships and business growth.

Execution

The India Pavilion at Nor-Shipping 2025 was meticulously conceptualized and brought to life by Essence Transmedia, ensuring a perfect blend of India’s maritime heritage and its modern, forward-looking capabilities. Every element — from spatial design to visual storytelling — was developed to meet world-class exhibition standards, presenting India as a progressive and collaborative maritime force.

A total of 19 exhibition stalls were constructed within the pavilion, with 14 stalls occupied by leading Indian maritime companies representing both public and private sectors. These companies were provided with a unified platform to display their innovations, engage with international stakeholders, and build meaningful global partnerships.

A major highlight was the formal inauguration of the pavilion by Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Government of India. His presence added credibility, visibility, and diplomatic strength to the India Pavilion. The ceremony was graced by senior dignitaries, diplomats, industry leaders, and international media, significantly enhancing the event’s impact.

In addition to the pavilion setup, Essence Transmedia managed all end-to-end arrangements including travel, accommodation, food, on-ground logistics, and day-to-day operational execution. Their seamless coordination with IPA, participating companies, and Nor-Shipping organizers ensured a frictionless experience, allowing all stakeholders to focus solely on business and engagement without logistical concerns.
